We need YOU to make these conferences a success – here’s your opportunity to participate in the region! Become a star in SPE. If you are interested in volunteering, please email Jessica Hayes or Lesley Louden. In particular we are looking for student volunteers but we often need a volunteer coordinator, a head of registration, a designer for the flyer and schedule of events, a coordinator for portfolio reviews, and an exhibition coordinator.

Want to participate in the region even more? We have ongoing openings on our regional board. Terms are two years. If you are interested in running for the board or would like more information about these positions, please email or Jessica Ingram or Nicole Jean Hill.

Hello, This is Micajah Truitt, a SPE memember and a fulltime professor of photography at Southwestern College in Chula Vista, CA just south of San Diego. I’d like to have our college participate in the western regional conference vis some manner. It could be as simple as provide information about our Photography & Digital Program, or we could participate in some event. Please let me know about possibilities. Thanks.

Hello,
My name is Paisley, I am a college photography student and would love to attend the conference this weekend! Unfortunantley I cannot make it on Friday, but would love to participate all of Saturday. Is there still room to register, and when/how can I do that?

Hi Paisley – You can come to the Registration at San Diego City College on Saturday morning and register in-person only at this time with cash or check.
